She thought her sister Amy was claiming her independence. She thought that if she just helped those around her with whatever they needed, the rest of her life would fall into place.

But when those choices backfire, Nora is left feeling abandoned and judged, as though all of her best intentions are wrong. It’s only when she is forced into a corner that she is able to gain clarity about the life she is actually building for herself.
